Our research aims to develop and advance scientific understanding with the potential to deliver social and economic benefits for everyone.

We believe strongly in sharing our research and knowledge widely to promote lifelong health and wellbeing. In addition to publicising our recent research findings, we work with the media to support the inclusion of evidence-based research into various public interest and current affairs topics.

By communicating our research, we aim to:

• Promote research at the Babraham Institute and communicate how our work benefits society
• Raise the public profile of the Institute as a world-class centre for life science research excellence and expertise
• Take an active role in informing public dialogue with evidence-based research relevant to key social and political issues

Scientific seminars and Institute events

Our welcomes a diversity of speakers from around the world, allowing us to hear about the latest research techniques and findings in areas that connect to our own research. Our public engagement team run regular events for schools, science festivals and public groups.
